“Midnights,” Taylor Swift’s tenth studio album, has already made history despite the fact that it was just released less than 24 hours ago.

The singer of “Anti-Hero” and “Lavender Haze,” who set the record for the most streams of an album in a single day in the history of music streaming service Spotify, made the announcement on Saturday (time in the Philippines).

Taylor Swift posted the following message in response to the news on her Twitter account: “How did I get this lucky, having you guys out here doing something this mind-blowing?!!”

“Like what even just happened??!?!”

After being released during the witching hour on Friday, “Midnights” immediately caused a commotion among music lovers online and ultimately brought Spotify to its knees.

The new album has thirteen tracks that tell what the artist refers to as “the stories of thirteen sleepless nights strewn throughout my life.”

“Life can be terrible, electrifying, hot, chilly, romantic, or lonely. It can be dark, starry, cloudy, terrifying, or electric. Just like Midnights,” Swift earlier said on social media.

Only three hours after the release of “Midnights,” Taylor Swift fans were delighted with additional surprises when the singer-songwriter, who has won multiple awards, revealed a deluxe version of the album.

Seven additional tracks that “we wrote on our journey to discover that magic 13” are included in the “3AM edition” of the album.

Taylor Swift made the initial announcement on her tenth studio album during the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, which she won for the 10-minute extended version of “All Too Well.”

After the simultaneous release of her albums “folklore” and “evermore” in 2020, Swift will release her third studio album, titled “Midnights.”
