After the breakdown of negotiations for a potential confrontation with Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury will defend his world heavyweight title on December 3 against Derek Chisora in London in an all-British trilogy fight. Chisora will be Tyson Fury’s third opponent in the trilogy.
The fight against Chisora, who Fury defeated in 2011 and 2014, will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This will be the “Gypsy King’s” first fight since his routine sixth-round stoppage of another domestic foe, Dillian Whyte, in April. Chisora will be Tyson Fury’s third opponent in this fight.

Frank Warren, who is in charge of promoting Tyson Fury’s fights, stated that he was “thrilled” to be able to stage a championship defense for Fury in front of British fans.

The plan for Tyson Fury to meet Joshua’s conqueror Oleksandr Usyk in a unification bout at the beginning of the following year was reaffirmed by Warren.
The Ukrainian had stated in the past that he had no wish to compete prior to the year 2023.

Tyson Fury has defeated his British adversary on two previous occasions, the first time via a unanimous decision at Wembley in July 2011, and the second time via a retirement win at London’s ExCel three years later.
This decision was made after negotiations for a potential fight between Tyson Fury and Joshua, who is a former world heavyweight champion for the United Kingdom, broke down earlier this month.
Chisora, who is now 38 years old, won his most recent bout in July against Kubrat Pulev at the O2 Arena via a split decision.
